Απαντήσεις στα ερωτήματα των εργαζόμενων της ΕΒΖ, που διάβασε στο Banks (https://banks.com.gr/evz-thetikoi-stin-eisodo-stratigikou-ependyti-ergazomenoi/) δίνει ο ο επικεφαλής του Innovation Brain, κ. Lukas Fecker, απευθύνοντας ανοικτή πρόσκληση για μεταξύ τους συνάντηση την ερχόμενη Πέμπτη.
Στην ανακοίνωση που εξέδωσε ο κ. Fecker, απαντά σημείο προς σημείο στα 10 ερωτήματα που υπέβαλαν οι εργαζόμενοι της ΕΒΖ, ενώ δίνει στη δημοσιότητα και τις βασικές γραμμές του business plan του fund για την επόμενη ημέρα της ΕΒΖ.
Στην ανακοίνωση-απάντησή της η Innovation Brain υποστηρίζει πως η προσφορά που έχει καταθέσει για την απόκτηση της ΕΒΖ υπερβαίνει τα 70 εκατ. ευρώ. Όπως λέει ο κ. Fecker, η προσφορά του fund προσεγγίζει τα 100 εκατ. ευρώ μαζί με τα διαθέσιμα κεφάλαια για την επίλυση των ανοικτών θεμάτων με τις τράπεζες, τους εργαζόμενους, τους αγρότες και τους προμηθευτές. “Αυτό το ποσό είναι σχεδόν διπλάσιο από αυτό που προσφέρθηκε πέρυσι”, σημειώνει σε άλλο σημείο της ανακοίνωσής του το fund, ενώ αναφέρει πως ο δεύτερος διεκδικητής της ελληνικής βιομηχανίας, τον οποίο δεν κατονομάζει, θα κλείσει τα εργοστάσια.
Παραδέχεται, εμμέσως, ότι η πρόταση περιλαμβάνει την ίδρυση νέας εταιρείας με νέο ΑΦΜ, στην οποία θα μεταβιβαστούν όλα τα περιουσιακά στοιχεία του ομίλου της ΕΒΖ ΑΕ, χωρίς να συμπεριλαμβάνεται σε αυτά το υφιστάμενο προσωπικό, δάνεια, χρέη προς τους καλλιεργητές, προσωπικό, προμηθευτές, δημόσιες επιχειρήσεις (ΔΕΠΑ, ΔΕΗ, ΤΡΑΙΝΟΣΕ κ.λπ.), οφειλές προς το δημόσιο και τα ασφαλιστικά ταμεία.
Απλά περιορίζεται να δηλώσει πως “το fund προσπάθησε να βρει λύση για όλους. Όλα τα ενδιαφερόμενα μέρη συμφώνησαν σε αμοιβαία λύση”.
Απευθύνει επίσης ανοικτή πρόκληση προς τα συνδικάτα για συνάντηση την ερχόμενη Πέμπτη 21 Ιουνίου. “Θέλουμε να δημιουργήσουμε νέες θέσεις εργασίας. Τα συνδικάτα θα είναι πάντα μέρος της λύσης”. Σημειώνει επίσης πως οι σημερινοί εργαζόμενοι δεν θα βρεθούν εκτός εργασίας. “Λειτουργούμε υπεύθυνα και θέλουμε να συνεργαστούμε με τα συνδικάτα. Τους καλούμε ξανά για συζήτηση την Πέμπτη 21 Ιουνίου 2018”, επαναλαμβάνει ο κ. Fecker.
Στην απάντησή του ο κ. Fecker τονίζει πως η ΕΒΖ θα αναδιαρθρωθεί, “δεν μπορούμε να επιστρέψουμε στο παλιό καθεστώς, προκειμένου να προχωρήσουμε προς τα εμπρός, πρέπει να οικοδομήσουμε μια σύγχρονη βιομηχανία”.
Αναφορικά με την τευτλοκαλλιέργεια, ο κ. Fecker αναφέρει πως ο σχεδιασμός του fund περιλαμβάνει την ενίσχυση της παραγωγής προκειμένου η ΕΒΖ να καταστεί ηγέτης στην Ελλάδα, στα Βαλκάνια και στην ανατολική Μεσόγειο. Και συμπληρώνει πως “προσπαθούμε να συνεργαστούμε με τις οργανώσεις αγροτών για την ανάπτυξη πρόσθετων προϊόντων”.
Αναφορικά με το Innovation Brain, σημειώνει πως αυτό χρηματοδοτείται από αμερικανικά κεφάλαια που ενδιαφέρονται να επενδύσουν στην περιοχή. “Είμαστε ανεξάρτητοι και έχουμε στρατηγική για την ανάπτυξη”, λέει ο κ. Fecker.
Αναφορικά με το εάν πίσω από το fund βρίσκεται ο επενδυτής Kostic, που στο παρελθόν είχε ενδιαφερθεί για την ΕΒΖ, ο κ. Fecker δηλώνει: “Δεν έχουμε καμία σχέση με τον κ. Kostic. Δεν είχαμε ποτέ συνεργαστεί μαζί του”.

HSI and Innovation Brain – Employee questions answered
A recent online article published by Banks.com.gr and Agronews.gr posed some questions from EBZ employees. Innovation Brain would like to take the opportunity to answer these questions.
Q1. Mr Fecker’s offer is 54 million. What does the above price include?
Answer: Innovation Brain are paying far more than €70m.
Q2. Recently, in a public announcement, another interested investor said he had filed a 70 million bid with the liquidator and the government, citing his plans for the company. Has this proposal been considered and, if not, why?
Answer: The other investor will close all plants, he has done this previously.
Q3. Why is not Mr Fecker named who or who represents and where does the investment fund come from?
Answer: Innovation Brain are funded by American money who interested investing in the region, we are independent and have a strategy for growth.
Q4. Is it true what has been published about the Innovation Brain (a fund whose manager is Mr Fecker)?
Answer: Innovation Brain is a group of companies in 5 countries specialised in turnaround and job creation.
Q5. Is there still an indirect interest in Mr Kostic’s interest?
Answer: We have no connection to Mr Kostic. We have never worked with Mr Kostic.. The Monopoly commission would not allow it and will not sell to him.
Q6. About eight months ago, EBZ’s management resigned because it did not agree with the sale of the two factories in Serbia for a price of 60 million. Today, the administration and the government will accept a price of 54 million for the whole group?
Answer: You have been misinformed, Innovation Brain are offering more than €70m. Our offer is closer to €100m and the funds are available to solve the problems of the banks, the employees, the farmers and the suppliers. This is almost double what was offered last year.
Q7. With the implementation of Mr Fecker’s proposal for the establishment of a new company with a new VAT number, all the assets of the group of EBZ SA are transferred, not including existing staff, loans, debts to growers, staff , suppliers, public companies (DEPA, PPC, TRAINOSE etc.) public, insurance funds. Who takes the cost of all the above?
Answer: Innovation Brain have tried to find a solution for everyone. All parties involved mutually agreed a solution. Innovation Brain are available to talk with the unions. We want to create new jobs, the unions will always be part of this. We invite EBZ to meet with Lukas Fecker on Thursday 21 June 2018
Q8. Is there a guarantee for the operation of all three factories in Greece?
Answer: The Greek factories will produce sugar and other products. HSI will be restructured. We cannot revert back to the old regime in order to move forward we need to build a modern revolutionary Agri industry and sugar production. Innovation Brain is an award winning company for European turnaround and Lukas Fecker is a member of the Board of Trustees for Turnaround in the US, a global trade organisation.
Q9. Is there provision to secure current workers or will they suddenly find themselves on the road?
Answer: Current workers will not find themselves out of a job. We act responsibly and want to work with the unions. Again we invite them for a discussion on Thursday 21 June 2018.
Q10. What is the guarantee of the existence and continuation of the most dynamic cultivation possible, which coupled with the coupled aid yields decent income to growers?
Answer: We plan to build a new “Hellenic Agri”, a crucial strategy for the regional farmer communities. We plan to
- Turnaround and restructure sugar production
- Bring new sugar beets which have a higher content
- Supply of fertilisers
- Buy and sell sugar in Greece and the region, to make HSI a leader in Greece, the Balkans and east Mediterranean
- We also look to work with the farmer organisations to develop additional products
